Ethnic Minority & Traveller Achievement Service
Coronavirus update:
Please refer to North Lincolnshire Council’s updates on the Coronavirus situation.
What we do
The Ethnic Minority and Traveller Achievement Service (EMTAS) works with North Lincolnshire schools to raise the attainment of:
- Children with English as an additional language (EAL)
- Gypsy, Roma and Traveller (GRT) children
- Refugee and Asylum seekers, especially those arriving in North Lincolnshire as a result of refugee resettlement schemes
We support minority ethnic and EAL pupils and help them to reach their full potential.
Our staff are highly trained and are kept up to date with national research and development. They work with schools to address gaps in pupil attainment and also work with senior members of staff to embed best practice.
For more information please visit the North Lincolnshire Council website.
